Northern Arizona
Northern Arizona comprises some of the Colorado Plateau of the Southwest USA, which boasts some of the finest opportunities for photography in America. It is here that one will find what is commonly referred to as the "Grand Circle." This circle contains eight national parks, including the Grand Canyon, Zion, Arches, Bryce, and Mesa Verde. It also includes a variety of national monuments and the Navajo Indian Reservation.
The following photos of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Horseshoe Bend, and Upper Antelope Canyon, all points on the Colorado Plateau, were taken during an April 2009 photo expedition intended to complete the southern portion of the "Grand Circle."
